The Blended Family Ministry Collective, sponsored by FamilyLife and hosted by WinShape Retreat, is a gathering of leaders who are invested in discovering what works in stepfamily ministry and how it can be replicated in churches around the world. The BFM Collective is not a seminar, though at times you will learn from others. Rather, it's primarily a conversation. A prayerful invitation for the Spirit to lead a dialogue among a small group of fellow strugglers and leaders who want to bring Christ-centered, research-informed support to complex homes.
What the field of blended family ministry needs at this point in history is clear leadership into the future. That demands a collective strategy, a collective harmony, and a collective voice. You are invited to be part of that voice. Bring what you have (even if it doesn't feel like much). Bring what you dream about. Bring what you believe in. And together, let's pray and think about what happens next.
The Collective is designed for anyone invested in any aspect of blended family ministry. For example, those offering pre-blended family training or mentoring, working with married couple groups, or doing crisis work with stepfamilies.
